Catherine does literary translation from Spanish and Catalan into English. She has translated two novels and a memoir, and has recently been working on contemporary poetry by Uruguayan authors Paula Simonetti, Sebastián Rivero, Laura Cesarco Eglin and Luis Bravo. She co-translated Laura Cesarco Eglin’s poetry book Reborn in Ink with Jesse Lee Kercheval (The Word Works, 2019). Voice & Shadow: New & Selected Poems by Luis Bravo, also co-translated with Jesse Lee Kercheval, was published by Lavender Ink Press in March 2020.
